"uh... me...I'm Takira, and I just fell out of a tree." She was annoyed about the claws in her face. Her eyes glowed...
He floated up and hit a branch, and he dropped his bowl of soup, on Takira's head.
"OWWWW! HOT SOUP HOT SOUP!" jumping up and running around. The soup was absolutely scalding! The burning broke her concentration, and caused her to drop the guy on his butt.
30 minutes later...
"I'm sorry, but when people point sharp things in my face, I tend to get upset." Zephyr was sitting grumpily on his knees, obviously not accepting Takira's appology.
"Um..." She points at the bowl, her eyes glow.
The bowl of soup refilled itself, and floated over to Zephyr. "Sorry about the dropping you, and your soup. I really didn't mean to. Please, don't hurt me, I'm just looking for someone honest...

Domi cursed herself under her breath as she was forced to duck behind a waterberral for cover. I knew better then to just follow him openly, fie. If he catches me now it's not EVEN worth it, as I'm not ready. I'll just abort methinks.
Domi thought for a moment for a place to go, where she didn't think he'd follow. Looks like a noble, I bet he doesn't like getting dirty... She snickered quietly to herself before sniffing the air again, catching the scent of fish. She glanced around, straightened up and headed toward the docks, swiping a loaf of bread on the way.
Ariving there, she sat on an empty crate and watched the men unload berrals and crates from their ships. Contentedly munching a pinch of bread, she squinted at the place where the sea met the ocean. Now I could swear... Is that a ship? No matter. She tore another piece of bread off of the loaf and munched, planning the rest of her day.

so, we are ALL going to meet up eventually, right? That's the general idea. The point is that we are all the heroes of whatever story it is that we're writing cooperatively, and we will all be part of the overarching storyline that affects all of us. Wether this means we will actually group up into a party of about 7 people that travels around together remains to be seen, but we will all probably meet each other at some point. Yup, the storyline's are tying together nicely and within a couple of days, everyone will be swept together and the scenery will change once again. Just wait until then kiddies. *insert evil laugh here*

Jin was lying back, eyes watching the clouds soar peacefully above when he heard the call. "LAND HOY!!!"
"About ruddy time..." He groaned, then rolled over to continue his nap. Jin's uneventful nap continued on for another peaceful three minutes before it was uninterrupted by a foot rudely poking him in the ribs. Jin attempted to roll onto his other side to see if that would convince the owner of the appendage to leave him alone, but alas, Jin would have no such luck today. "Hey, Jin, didn't you hear the alert? We've finally arrived." Dorne stood above him, a grin decorating the other's man face for the first time since the fight with the Carthaulian vessels.
"Yup," said Jin, figuring his best tactic would be to pretend he didn't feel his companion's toe boring its way through his side.
"That means you and I are going to get on the row boat and see what we can dig up on Matoyas." "Nope." Figuring that ignoring Dorne wasn't helping much, Jin finally pushed away at the offending boot. It quickly found its way right back into his side.
"Jin, Jin, Jin..." Dorne sighed. "Either you come with me and scout out the city with me, or I bring Rakiri and you get to drag The Strike and Blossom into port. Which would you rather do?"
"Sleep." Jin replied.
The toe left its position from his side and Jin was welcomed with a few moments of calm respite. He smiled and tucked his hands behind his head. Today was the perfect day for a nap, after all. Then Dorne just had to come back and dump a barrel of sea water over his head.
Sitting up and sputtering sea water out of his mouth, Jin shot a glare towards his friend. Dorne was dressed up as if he was visiting the Queen herself. A light cream colored satin robe embroidered with silk designs covered the top half of his body, separating at the waist only to reveal matching satin pants underneath. His long hair was freshly brushed, his face shaven. "Fine, fine, guess I'll go." Jin said, cursing under his breath. "Good, I thought you'd come along to my way of thinking," Dorne said with a smile and putting down the bucket. "Now go get ready." Standing up and stretching, Jin rubbed at the half-grown beard on his face. Looking down at his own clothes, he laughed. His cotton pants were stained from the seawater, his shirt beneath his leather jerkin was stiff enough to kill a man, and he could only imagine how much of a mess the rest of him looked.
"Ready as I'll ever be."
...........................................................................................
It didn't take them long to separate from The Strike and Blossom and go on their merry way on the small little rowboat. The Strike and Blossom might have lost its anchor, but Rakiri was keeping it well enough in place by fashioning one out of the random metallic debris littering the ship and then charging it all together. Be just our bloody luck if there was an iron deposit somewhere in the ground around here, then our little 'anchor' would drag the entire ship to it (Sidenote: Rakiri is a lightning mage that focuses on magnetism, in case some of the things I've said about him are a tad confusing for some of you) The duo had just made it to the port when a man appearing to be the dockmaster waltzed up to them. Dorne gave Jin a nudge, and the white-haired mage started his work. "Hoy, laddie!" He shouted out in greeting, as he felt the rune of Persuasion warm up on his chest. "You shoulda seen some of them fish out there today! One of those buggers was so big he clean snapped my rod in half! Tore through our nets like a fiend too! Worst luck imaginable, but damn will that be a story to tell the young 'uns!" The dockmaster laughed, "I been hearin' the same thing from ol' man Jenkins. Claims he even saw a warship just the other day!"
Jin shared a jovial laugh and then focused the power of his rune a bit more acutely on the man. "Bah, Jenkins!? Ol' fool has never caught a fish unless it's jumped into his rum! Then he just holds it long enough to toss it back into the sea!" The dockmaster laughed, then led them to a spot where they could tie up their row boat. He stopped for a second, staring at Dorne's fine outfit. "What's up with dis one, eh? Dressed like he think's he's a Duke or somethin'!" Dorne's mouth soured a little bit, but Jin never missed a beat. "Today was his sister's wedding. Fine lass, that one. But do I feel sorry for her husband. Boy will drink himself into an early grave as soon as she opens her mouth, I tell ya." The dockmaster laughed one last time and then let them on their way. Dorne turned to Jin as they walked away. "Nicely done. Now let's get on to work, shall we?" "Meh. Let's just finish this quickly and find some place to sleep for awhile, alright?"

Teyric inhaled deeply and sighed. Ok, I can do this. Just keep calm. He walked along the street for a few more paces, then suddenly jerked his head sideways to look down a sidestreet, as if he'd been startled. Then he broke into a run in the opposite direction. As soon as he entered the alley, he skidded to a halt and dove behind some merchant's abandoned, broken-down cart. Then he poked his head out just enough to see, and waited. C'mon, sweetheart. Follow me.

Domi saw the row boat as it was approaching and watch it move its way beside the docks. Seeing the two men in the boat, one well dressed, the other not so, her thoughts flipped briefly back to the man in the red cloak. I'll come back for you later, laddy-buck...
She watched as they lashed their boat to the docking port, got out of their little boat, and began walking along the dock. She sat, thinking for a moment, deciding if she wanted to make a plan or not, and chose to just wing it.
Brushing bread crumbs off her vivid green pants, and purple shirt, she leaned back and lounged against one of the crates, letting one leg dangled off the side. She picked a piece of bread off her loaf, rolled it into a ball, and chucked it straight at the shabbier one's head.
Meaning to hit him somewhere around his ear, but not being a good aim, she hit him on the nose. She snickered quietly to herself before settling back against her crate, and waiting.

Since I'm the only one still paying attention in our section...
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
It was twenty minutes after the "accident", and Takira was still apologizing.
"I realy am sorry, you just scared me..." Takira was now just babbling.
"OKAY! You, have issues! You talk too much, you're not in control of whatever powers you seem to have, and you, you, TALK TOO MUCH!" Zephyr had become realy annoyed with her chattering on and on and on.
"Oops, sor-"
"NO! No more appolgizing! Just tell me who you are and why you're out here!"
"Oh, well... I'm Takira Aziwana, and I'm looking for my mother. She disapeared ten years ago, and only left my one clue, and that was Matoyas. Oh, and as far as my powers, I'm just learning to use my phsycic gift... So, you're not going to kill me?"

"I'll let you live, for now anyway. You are also an annoying little child, and I hate children. Especially annoying ones. You're lucky I'm in a good mood." Zephyr sneered at the little girl known as Takira. He saw potential in her. Her spells were powerful, even though she was a beginner.
"Now about you. Your mother dissapeared ten years ago and left you a pendant. May I see the pendant?" He sugared the last question. He knew there was something special about her.
I can't believe it took me this long to figure it out. There's something odd about that pendant of hers. It has some sort of magic amplifying effect. At least, I think does...

Jin had barely been on land for a whole five minutes before someone threw something at him. Catching the light object on the rebound from his nose, Jin studied it for a moment before popping it into his mouth. "Disgusting," Dorne sighed, shaking his head. "Do you even know what that was?" Jin chewed for a moment or two, tilting his head to help facilitate his thought process. "Bread. Decent bread too. Baked this morning, I think." "Interesting girl that threw it, though. She obviously has good taste if she decided to go after you rather than me." Jin snorted. "Probably was aiming at you, but that shiny outfit you're wearing threw off her aim." They walked closer to the girl, and Jin smiled. Of course Dorne would like her. She seemed to be the only one with a more... unique taste in clothes than he did. "Thanks for the bite, got anymore?"

"No, I prefer not to take it off. Last time, my father tried to burn it. You can look, but it stays where it is!" Takira hated when people asked her to take it off, it was the only thing of her mothers she had left. Mostly, people just wanted to destroy it, almost like they didn't want her to find her mother...
"Why do you want to see it so bad?" This man was very odd, he looked young, but had the air of a man her fathers age...
He looked toward her, looking sternly in her eyes.
"You didn't answer my question, Why are you so interested in my necklace?!" Now she was the annoyed one.

Teyric cursed as the girl trotted off the other way, around the corner and out of sight. He briefly considered just letting her go and forgetting about it, then the image of the four guards glaring at him in the muddly alley came back, and he groaned. "I hate doing stuff like this." He repeated as he levered himself back to his feet and hurried off to follow the small girl with the black hair.

He couldn't believe his ears. This child was yelling at him. This child was demanding something of him. He wouldn't stand for this. He was much better than anyone here.
"How dare you demand something of me, you insignifigant little wench. If it wasn't for this pendant, I would have just now sliced your head off of you shoulders. I suggest if you wish to continue breathing, you will calm down and let me examine that pendant." He glared at her during the entire speech.
I knew it. This pendant isn't of this world. Or, at least the metal isn't. And I would love to examine exactly how it multiplies her power like it does. I don't see any crests on it, and I don't sense any energy coming from it. So how does it do it...
