Spring Break starts Friday.
Canela is attending a dinner party (because she and her friends have dinner parties, they are lame like that) on Friday. There will be wine and food cooked by her gourmet-trained friend, and Coupling will be shown during dinner.
Then she goes back to The Hole (AKA her hometown) but her roommate is coming with her and two more of their friends are joining them several days later.
AND she is going to see Regina Spektor, who never performs for big audiences but is doing so because she graduated from Canela's school, on Wednesday!

I LOVE MY JOB!!!
I get to work in the kitchen now, and it's amazing, 'cause they understand how I work. I like, walked in, went "Mow?" and they're like "It's over there honey." and pointed at EXACTLY what I was looking for.

Canela went to a Venetian Masquerade ball last night.
She wore a dress that apparently made her look like a sacrificial maiden and there was a bluegrass band.
She also got lots of practice playing her djembe this week when she and her friends were wandering around in the woods.
Life is good.
