If you guys would READ it says clearly that Karana's brother does know of her existance. But her father didn't tell her about her brother because he thought he was dead and all the memories were painful. Sides, what would be the point?

That doesn't drop the point that if you have someone shadowing you your whole life, something will happen where you will meet each other eventually. I'm just saying it's a tad far-fetched. If you guys can make it work, I'd really like to see it, I'm just pointing out the obvious that it WILL be very hard to do.

Mattness! You're RPing with us! What larks. Righto. Skiv. I have a few things to say about that rant, particularly about the "learning to use it" bit. I know how to use a sword. Not very well in an actual "defend yourself against a real swordsman" sense, and it's only a foam-and-PVC sword, but I still do know a thing or two about weilding something similar to a sword in something similar to a fighting scenario. And I do know that if you're naturally athletically gifted and quick, and if you really want to teach yourself the rudiments of swordfighting, you can beat some other people who have also taught themselves how to swordfight. Also, about the different styles. If he was educated in Scotland and his opponent in the Middle East, that doesn't mean anything. His opponent knows tricks he doesn't know, certainly, but he also knows tricks that the opponent has never even heard of. So both fighters study their enemy and adapt their fighting styles to what works. It runs both ways. Don't assume that our valiant hero George is too powerful, certainly, but also don't assume that he is an idiot who holds a sword like a baseball bat. And besides, this isn't supposed to be totally realistic. It's fantasy for heaven's sakes. Thats kinda the point. [/pointless rant]

Hey now, don't bite me for quote TEO. Honeslty. I wouldn't have posted it if he hadn't said that he was pretty good with it. I forget his wording, I'm lazy. And Robin, I DID read clearly, and it says that he's watched over her her whole life. So he'd know about her being his sister. I agree with Oz.

I would like to point out that Robin and I ARE Brother and Sister in real life, thus making RP-ing a relationship between our two Chars a good deal easier than just making it up from scratch.
Yes I know she is my sis, but she does not as of yet, and who knows, probably never will, tis not teh point.
Teh point is: to enjoy this whole shmear! Why are ANY of us in the BWE if not to enjoy it, ja? All the craziness, the explosions and blasts of new-minted matter/ideas, were here b/c we like it! So lets enjoy this too, and heck, if it gets a smidge crazy, well that's kind of standard issue for the BWE right?

We know ya'll are siblings, no worries. And you knowing she's your sister makes it less confussing, so that's good. We know the point Coffee, and we're having fun, or we would have left.

To Ahrar: Yes, you can teach yourself something of swordfighting, and he's saying he was taught, so that's not even the point. Yes, you know how to use the foam and PVC kind of 'sword.' But those are so VASTLY different from real swords, or even just the wooden practice swords, that it doesn't matter what you know about H2H type fighting, because you don't do hardly any of the same things. And yes, if you're athletic and all that jazz, sure, you can use a sword. Might not be using it well or anything, but you can brain some people and maybe even cut 'em if you're careful, but you wouldn't be able to use it WELL. But that's all beside the point, the whole REASON for me posting that first bit, wasn't about LEARNING to use it. It was about HAVING a sword.

Okay here Oz, why are you changing it right as I invade? I thought that an invasion would make a good RP, various people fighting the soldiers... stuff like that. Also, we're going to keep things relativly the same, correct? People that are traveling together (both real characters and NPCs) will stay together, we'll have the same powers, ect.
~About the random ranting: Let's be nice! Some of the posts were sounding a bit argumentative. [/Kindness Nazi] Also, let's try to keep things topical.~

Please, everyone, when it comes to background flaws, lets just leave those alone for right now. After a bit of streamlining they will be editted and will make sense. Don't badger each other under something so silly.
The whole sword thing bugs me, but I'll let it go because I don't feel like yelling at CLPP after he finally worked up enough courage (or whatever) to join us. Therefore, *gives even glare to everyone* we should all keep in mind that these characters are drafts, and it will require us all some patience until people learn from their mistakes. Yelling just gets them angry.
CLPP has a sword, wow, so does Llama who is like half his size and age. Are we all berating Llama? No. We're berating CLPP.
So just stop. There are flaws, we will deal, CLPP will do some editing if need be. So just stop.

And I'm sure there will be a day or two of people fighting the soldiers, but if you haven't noticed, for the most part, we don't really have too many fighters in this RP.

This marks the end of the first original RP characters, and starts the section on the new one! Yay for beginnings!
Name: Zaene Datatsuchi
Sex: Male
Age: 52, but due to magical abilities, appears to be 21.
Height: 6’3
Weight: 150 lbs.
Appearance: Zaene is Maelettan in decent, which means he appears to be half of his age. He stands about 6’3, weighing roughly 150 pounds. He has long platinum hair, a common characteristic among Maelettan-born people, to about halfway down his back, pulled back into a ponytail with some bangs out. He has red eyes, another characteristic common to Maelettans. He is very gaunt, almost to the point of appearing emaciated. He dresses in a ceremonial black robe, with crimson and dark purple embroidery. However, under the robe, he wears a black t-shirt, black slacks, and combat boots. This really doesn’t matter, though, as no one can see his feet.
Strengths: Charismatic, Strong-willed, Quick-Witted, Intelligent, Has some strategy training.
Weaknesses: Hates to be wrong, Can’t stand ignorance, Can’t stand innocence, Hates competition, Somewhat narcissistic, Jaded.
PPossessions: Other than his Emperor-type things, he has a very odd amulet, with a strange crest and a glowing crystal fragment in the center, and an onyx ring.
History: A Mystery! Or not! Who knows, really?
Combat Skills: Like all Maelettans, Zaene is completely devoid of the physical ability to fight.
Arcane Skills: High-Level mage. Can harness large quantities of Black Magic.
Practical Skills: He has the ability to talk his way out of pretty much anything.

You were just too lazy to make a new one and you know it!
Person....hmm...:
Name: Koichi Sheeba
Age: 21, but due that stupid magic, looks 10.5
Strengths: Moon fire works.
Weakness: She is a useless whineing blubbering shrew at most times.
Possesions: A long white robe, a silver sash, and one silver hair comb encrusted with moon fire saphires.
Appearence: About 5'3'' with a sheet of waist lenght white blonde hair and warm green eyes, and weighs about 95-97 pounds.
Personality: Prone to whine! Very frilly, cautious, no self-confidence, frightened, naive, and whiney. Did I neglect to mention, WHINEY!
History: Orphaned, as per usual with my people, I am muy un original. (mostly because, I like Jette am too lazy to make a new one up ;D) Was working in the royal Library with Zaene and escaped amongst other people. She was present for the conqering of that one country I don't remeber what it was. And pretty much followed him everywhere like a lost puppy. Because she is a useless whineing blubbering shrew at most times.
Combat skills: You know the issue with that, none.
Arcane skills: Can harness a little black magic, and is being tutored by Zaene to fix that. She mostly works with moon fire. Obviously powers up with the whole moon cycle thing. On new moon, she is reduced to a whimpering blubbering useless pile skin and bone.
Practical skills: Good cook, awsome sense of direction, wonderful memory.
