TEO and I have been discussing this subject lately, and I thought I'd post it to see what you guys think of it.
See, everyone has a random, minor superpower. Some people never get lost. Some people find money wherever they go. I have a friend who claims to psychically control a certain traffic light. TEO is freakishly good at talking people into buying things they didn't want in the first place. It's an interesting topic, and one that seemed rather BWEish. What superpowers do you guys have? Got any strange skills? Are you amazingly lucky in some weird area?
Mine- I'm good at finding out private information. If anyone I'm around has any sort of drama going on, I usually find out about it, even when they want to keep it to themselves-I don't go prying about or anything, I just always inadvertently find out, even when I don't necessarily want to know. I think I give off some sort of pheromone that screams 'trust me!' because people I don't know well or haven't known long tell me things because they "just felt like they could talk to me, for some reason."
I also have a superweakness: I can't learn to play poker. Every so often, someone decides that I just haven't had the right teacher, and they'll try to teach me, talking me through every single step of the game and explaining everything as carefully as possible... And it usually ends with them banging their head on the table in frustration. It's especially embarrassing when someone else new to the game is playing and picks it up quickly.
