Since it seems that most of us like books, I thought I'd share this site: www.bookcrossing.com
The idea behind bookcrossing is to turn the whole world into the library; you sign up, register books, print out a little explanation to stick in front, and abandon them somewhere in public. If someone else finds a book, they can go to the site and leave a message in that book's journal, before they read it and abandon it elsewhere. There's also a section that lists where books have been left 'in the wild,' arranged by country, state, and town, so you can see if there are any in your area. I've released four books so far, still haven't found any...
