I can't believe what they did to R2 in that movie. He's a bloody DROID!! Droids don't have personality, unless it's programed into them, like with C3PO, seeing as he's one of the droids that interact with humans a lot!! A maitnance droid would NOT. I repete would NOT have a personality.

*cough* um, Skiv...R2-D2 always has had a personality. If you watch any of the movies, he has a personality. He's a comic relief. Heck, we're refering to him as a 'he' in this conversation.

He had a personality, sure, but not as much of one as they made him have in these movies. You know?

True. I thought it was funny how they keep jettisoning him out of the ship. You think they could be any rougher?

Another thing that rubbed the wrong way was how during that final battle they were standing three feet over molten rock and they did not incinerate! YOU CAN'T GET THAT CLOSE! *grumbles*

But they're Jedi (and Sith)! They have magic stuff! It's a sci-fi fantasy for goodness sakes, not a documentary. They can afford to have a few out there moments.
Still, that movie was a) Better then the other two and b) Good enough to be called a star wars... George Lucas did an excellent job in bringing the series full circle and explaining everything that becomes the 4th movie. Also, I love the space battle. That was an awesome movie. (Everything old is new again)

And the line "Ani, you're breaking my heart!" Was just. SAD. Like depressing.

Indeed. It passed the line of 'sadness' and went into 'i don't like this!'

Yeah, the dialouge could have been better, but at least Anakin acted in this one. He is wicked sweet in evil mode.
And that was more funny then sad. It was like "Ooops, now you've made him mad and he's gonna kill you! Hah! That is great!"

It's because he hasn't fully been enveloped into darkness. Hearing of her d eath, that is what jaded him beyond all reason.
