Alrighties, everything calls for some balance. So if you are sad about something and need some comforting or just need to get whatever it is off your chest, feel free to post it here.
I.e. I was looking through some old diary-like thingies of mine when I came across an entry about my dog Mika, who passed away. It made me so sad because younger me was talking about how frightened she was that Mika might die...oo...sadness.

I've got strep throat. AGAIN. I had it Monday, it was gone Tuesday, and now it's back again. Sadness....

Poor Jette! Strep sucks. I went through a phase this winter where I think I got every throat ailment possible.

Furball is feeling depressed today.
She doesn't want to be comforted, however. She just wants to get it off of her back.
Furball feels dead, dark, and very alone. She feels like she's drowning, and there is nobody there.
She doesn't want any sympathy. She will solve it herself. She can do things herself.
See? She already feels better having said as much.

I have days like that. I find the best way to deal with it after telling someone is to listen to some songs like Courtessy of the Red White and Blue.
