I was wondering if anyone would be interested in having a serious RPing event in one of the boards.
This would mean long and coherent entries, somewhat of a storyline, serious characters, and good writing.
So... who's up for it?

Like... something you'd find in a novel or a story. Writing that exemplifies excellent word choice, grammar, organization, ect.

A serious RP sounds like a fun idea, actually. I'd like to have an opportunity to create another character and do novel-style writing. (Is that what you mean by 'good', David-- more a collective, novel-style game than our unusual asterixes?) Got a specific genre in mind, or setting, David? If you don't, we could all brainstorm. Whee.
Elsewhere is actually part of the Empire, so maybe, if this gets going, I could put a 'serious RP' section in the 'General' category. Sound good? Werr?

Yeah... that's what I was going to suggest in the first place, but it sounded like it would take too much work.
(and, that is what I meant by "good" writing...)
I didn't really have an "idea" per say about a setting/story, but I used to do RPing on the web and missed the good writing and complex stories and characters.
I think though that we do need to get together once this place is created or whatever and decide how we want to do this. Will it be a free-for-all where you create random threads of RPing with whatever character you want, or if we want to create another world with a collective theme/plot.
Doesn't really matter to me, although I lean on everyone creating one character, with specific info like appearance, back round, ect and we all decide on a world and a general bland story and we see what happens.
