On a more musical note, my current obsession is Nada Surf's "Proximety Effect," which is awesome.

Now? Typing, the voice of Slipnot sayin' "I'm just so AWESOME!" AoQ ranting about something (He does that) and The Sheepling TRYING to get a word in and failing. Also sounds of AoQ playing with a (dull) sword and Main Gauche. Yes this is in real life. They showed up at my house and I closed the door in AoQ's face till he threatened to revoke my free drink pass.  So I let them both in. I'm not kidding... AoQ's my brother. And Slipnot's his brother though not my brother... |

That's funny because it really happened.
Umm... right now... I can hear the flourescent lights in the history room buzzing incessantly. The clock ticking. My typing, of course.
Some people talking too loudly in a class down the hall.

...hum, i hear...typing, country music in the backround, my little brother screaming his head off 'cause his videogame is better than he is at simulated football...the computer humming a tiny bit, and i can hear myself breathing, which is rather creepy when i think about it, but that's all right. ^^

For the past three days, I've been listening to about 200 people banging away on mandolins, fiddles, guitars, string bass, and (Lord preserve us and protect us) banjos. I was at a folk-music seminar thingamawhatsit-- much fun, t'was. I learned a lot of new songs, and met people who has played with some of my musical heroes. Gahh. I want to go back!
