Takira was taken aback.
"HOW DARE YOU!" She was on her feet with fists clenched "NO ONE YELLS AT ME! I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE YELL AT ME!" She was now trying her hardest to fight back tears...
"PEOPLE HAVE YELLED AT ME, KEPT ME IN SECLUSION, AND ISOLATED ME FROM MY PAST ALL MY LIFE, AND I'M DONE WITH THE YELLING!" She finally lost it and broke down in tears.
"I've always been yelled at, and hate it! Thats why I left home. Because my mother was the only one who never yelled at me!" She just knew he was going to kill her when she stopped, but at least she could get her point across.
"NO! I refuse to remove this necklace! It's all I have and I don't trust you one bit!" She stopped, sat back down, and waited for him to yell back, or to kill her.

Zephyr's eyes bulged out. This child had just pushed him over the edge. With one swift movement, his claws were out and were swinging right for her. They ended up creating five sucessive gashes across her torso. The blood came billowing forth afterwords. He knew he didn't kill her, he hadn't tried. He just wanted her to shut up.
"That should take care of your mouth, you annoying little wench. I would seek medical attention immediately if you wish to not bleed to death." He sneered. He didn't think killing her was worth it, but if was going to just sit there and die, he wasn't going to stop her.

Takira's mind was racing, what to do, what to do? Oh wait...
She stood up...
She had never tried this before, but she did not want to die over her pendant...
She walked over to the crimson eyed girl, and sat down again.
"Can you help me?" Crap, it hurts to breath!
She had never asked another person for help before, people always said no, or laughed, or just walked away. She blamed her idiot father for that...
The girl looked at her, with a strange look. She either doesn't like me or can't help me...
Takira started crying again, she reached up and placed hand over her pendant...
"I'm sorry mother..." It was barely a whisper. She just knew she was going to die now. But what about her mother? Now she would truly be lost forever to the world...
The pendant began to glow, and the wounds began to close. When finished, only scars remained! It was as if her body aged the wounds to help with the healing! But it still hurt, a lot...
"Allright, I'm confused..."

Zephyr's face almost fell off. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. That pendant just healed her. Completely. Now he definately knew that pendant wasn't normal. But no known metal had that property. And he still didn't sense anything magical about it.
"Girl, you said you got that pendant from your mother. Do you have any idea where she got it? Did someone tell you anything about it?"

"Yes, I did get it from my mother. But, I don't think it worked right, because it still hurts a lot...No, no one told me anything, in fact, no one but my father has ever even seen it before. And my name is T-A-K-I-R-A."
She was still stuned about the whole healing her thing...
"Now, I appologize for yelling at you. But please, why are you so interested in my pendant?" She was trying very hard not to be rude this time, she thought it might have come accross a little obviously though.

Domi tilted her head up to look at the one who had spoken too her. "Of course I have more, I wouldn't waste my last piece on you now then would I?" She asked innocently.
Turning to the one in the robe she surveyed him quickly. "I love the robe, nice and shiny, I'm fond of shiny things." She said with a crooked smile, holding out a hand so that the sun caught on her many copper rings.
"You friend on the other hand..." She looked Jin up and down. "He could use some work." She added, chucking the last half of the bread at him with a wink.
Reclining back on her throne of crates, she propped her feet up, took a metal spoon out of her belt, and began twirling it in her fingers.
((*glares at Ahrar* Stupid git! God-Moding Domi around to following you, she wasn't GOING to follow you! She was going to get someone ELSE to follow you!! AND the fact that after him waiting for her to follow him, and her running off to the docks, he wouldn't have seen her leaving!! Unless he had some magical means to find her, he wouldn't be able too short of spending HOURS asking around and searching! *mutters darkly about people who break the classic RPing rules*))

"That, Takira, is none of your buisiness. Just forget about it for now." He was trying his hardest to keep a straight face during all of this. He had caused her pain. That was a good thing, maybe she would have learned her lesson. But, if he revealed the quality of the pendant now, she might do something stupid. Like, say, abuse it, or sell it.
"And quit with the forced politeness. It's very unbecoming."

What a stiff! She stood up, and walked over to him. She put her face within an inch of his, and just stared.
"Do you want me to slash you again?" His face contorted with pure rage.
She took four steps back, and crossed her arms. "No, but an appology would suffice, sir. I also don't apreciate being called an annoying little child, sir." She hadn't tried to be very polite, and she knew it. But he wasn't exactly being a gentleman either.
He made small move, and out of fear, she reacted. Her pendant sparked, her eyes glowed, and whe was suddenly 10 feet in the air.

Jin attempted to snatch this second piece of bread out of the air as well, however, it sailed past his head and landed in the dirt. Shrugging to himself, he picked it up, brushed off some of the excess filth on it, then proceeded to stuff it into his cheeks. Dorne's face once again soured. "God, you can't be that hungry, can you? We didn't lose any of our provisions. What the hell is wrong with you?" Jin shrugged, and then proceeded to swallow. "Nothing. It had at least another seven seconds on the ground before I wouldn't have been able to eat it. Plus, salted pork gets a little old after awhile. Nice to have something fresh." Dorne's expression turned just another darker shade of green. Attempting to brush off Jin's... unsavory habits, he turned to the girl with a smile. "You must forgive my companion, sweet miss. He is not as well cultured as he should be, especially in the presence of such a fine creature as yourself." Jin nearly choked on the last piece of bread. God, Dorne couldn't go a single port without trying to find a woman. And trying to lay it on so thick, too. The mage sighed once to himself, noticing the expert way the girl's fingers twirled the spoon around. Best be careful there, Dorne, this girl isn't one of your normal tavern wenches. Jin thought wryly. Then proceeding on to more interesting and worthwhile matters, he continued to devour the rest of the bread.

Crap, where did she go? Teyric stood at the edge of the alley where it turned onto the next big street and sighed. So much for following the girl. He didn't really know how to follow anyone. Now he'd waited too long before following her, and she was long gone. "Crap." He said again. So... now... what do I do? Teyric sighed again, then straightened up and grinned. "Fine. You win, sweetheart." He said aloud. The nearest merchant looked at him curiously. He winked. "Girls running away from me. Y'know how it is, mate." And as Teyric headed back up the alley, the merchant could hear, drifting back to him, the sound of laughter.
OOC: Skiv. Not saying a thing. I already talked to you last night. *Hmph*

ooc: There there Ahrar, I was just a little overwhelmed at the idea of making Domi flirt with three guys at once.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Domi watched the exchange between the two with intrest. Careful Domi, these aren't your normal dock-scum chavos. She warned herself.
"You must forgive my companion, sweet miss. He is not as well cultured as he should be, especially in the presence of such a fine creature as yourself." One of them said with a smile. Domi felt a laugh escape her lips as she thought to herself He's a charmer that one, not like his friend, but both could prove useful.
Sitting up and propping her chin on her knees, she wrapped her arms around her legs and looked up at Dorne so innocently you could practicly see the halo.
"No worries chavo! I've been in the presance of worse manners! Note... I was feeding my Dadrus' live stock..." She flashed a smile at Jin. "Now I know he's hungry," She said, rolling her eyes at Jin. "But what about you? If you've been eating salt pork lately, I'll wager you are, and thirsty to boot."
She straightened back out, seeming to not like staying in one posision for too long and put a hand over her heart. "Oh dordi, here I am asking you to come and eat, and me not even knowing your names." She exclaimed with false horror, grinning up at Dorne.
Zephyr grinned evilly. He had just discovered another hidden quality of the pendant. Not only does it have healing properties, but it also protects it's wearer based on the emotions it's wearer has. This was certainly going to be interesting.
"Now, child, I will not apologize. That is something I do not do. And I called you what you are. An annoying child. You showed up, spilled my perfectly good soup, picked me up and dropped me, and a variety of other annoying things. If you stop being annoying, I will stop calling you annoying. And, I'm tired of sitting here, in a forest, in front of an army I hate. If you will excuse me Mimiko, Takira, I'm going to be leaving." He stood to leave. He grinned to himself.
They're both going to follow me. I know it. I've enticed Mimiko with the possible information on her strange coloring, and I've enticed Takira with the possibility that I know something about the pendant and might know her mother. Wonderful...
After opening and shutting the door for the eighth time, Orianne came to the conclusion that no-one was watching or even slightly interested. This produced a sigh of relief. Well, it'd had been a few hours since that other...person...or had it been a...it was a girl. Yes. Girl. It had been a few hours since the girl had finally left, but you could never be to careful. There were a few experiences you didn't want repeated.
It was cooler now outside then it was in the stuffy dark house, or at least the shadows seemed cooler. Orianne inched between the door and post, trying not to open the door any wider than need be. That'd been something Gavin had told her. Lots of movement catches peoples' eyes and turns their heads. She shut the door quietly behind her, glancing about the street. Alright. Not many people, one or two who she filed under 'suspicious', but the others seemed like regular citizens.
Hadn't the rest of the party said to be leaving by mid afternoon? Gavin said he'd wait up, but Orianne wasn't sure. You couldn't trust someone you didn't know, isn't that what Aunt said? But what did you do when you didn't know anyone?
Orianne took a deep breath, setting her jaw tightly. She glanced down at her bag, checking to see if anything was missing. Not that she could tell. She looked back up, and then farther up.
"Oh." She said in a small voice, losing a bit of resolve. It was too late. They'd be gone. The group was gone. This formed a frown on the girl's face. No. She could catch up. She would just need to know where they were going. Directions. Yes. Directions would be nice.
She took a few shuffling steps forward, and then paused. But who could she ask? There was a sigh, except this one was annoyed. Of course the answer was clear. She would have to ask everyone.
Everyone except the people with red-hair. You couldn't trust them even a good five inches.
"Excuse me." She started, walking up to a lady with reasonably clean clothing. "You wouldn't happen to know where the pilgrims went, would you?"
*^* Apologies for taking so long to continue. I was waiting for a good moment. Or at least until I knew what I would write next. Blechers.
Takira watched as he turned to leave. 'What army? My gosh, he's nuts, murderous, and rude!'
As he walked off, she turned to the girl. "So, Mimiko was it? You do what you wish, but I'm not just going to let him go! I'll follow him, untill he appologizes."
She stood up, and began to follow him. Sure, she had been annoying, but she hadn't meant to. And, yes she had just lied through her teeth. She didn't want an appology, because she knew she would never going to get one from his sorry but. She followed him, because he made it seem like he knew something about her pendant, that she didn't.
But she still did want that appology.
As she walked off to follow him, she thought she heard Mimiko following too. Good, at least she would have someone nice there. Though she hadn't acctually talked to her, she still seemed nice enough.
