Yeah. People yelled at me 'cause my story was angsty because everyone died. And then the villian was the protagonist. So I stopped writing because noone wanted to read my depressing story.

My little brother is mad at me because I kill everyone off. He's even angrier because I find new and inventive ways to do so. It makes me laaaaauuuugh.
And showing another's character's reaction to the mangled corpse of a friend is a great way to show weakness and help balance character. That and be angsty.

Yeah, in the story the main character is like, a leader of a mob, and he finds that the g irl he likes (and has been going after) has been threatened, and consequently beaten up (and worse, at one point). He goes temporarly insane and he orders the killing of all the enemy gangs, and it leads to what he calls "The Second Valentine's Day Massacre." (very original, no? But it fits because it was the day after Valentine's Day) Then, his normal personality is very angsty about causing all this suffering on his behalf.
