Feet of Clay might be a good one. It's got a mystery, some of the best characters (Dorfl!) and it's a good introduction to Pratchett's universe.

I loved Feet of Clay, one of my favorite Pratchett books so far.

Dunno. Reaperman was crazy good. Hm...What about The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents? Sure its one of his childrens booky-things. It still is one of his better novels.
Or if you only want to introduce the Terry Pratchett genre, you could do 'Only You Can Save Mankind'. That one is a bit more children oriented too, though.
Oh dear. Sorry for being so unhelpful...

I've only read 'The Wee Free Men' out of all of his children's/YA novels, but I loved it. He doesn't tone down his style for younger readers, and he treats them like they're intelligent human beings. He respects his audience, no matter what, and that's impressive.

Reaper Man wasn't one of my favorites, Furball. I don't know why, it just didn't satisfy my brain in the way that the Death novels usually do.
I bought the Amazing Maurice a few weeks ago. It's so adorable.
I was sorely tempted by the Art of Discworld, which has pictures of Vimes and Nobby and the like, and of the Nac Mac Feegle. Borders had 'The Science of Discworld' as well, but it was dead expensive. Sigh.

They tell you how to make frog pills. I shall make some for everyone once I save up enough money to buy it. It is twenty dollars and Furball is dreadfully disappointed that it is as such.

I think it even had a recipe for Cut-Me-Own-Throat Dibbler's completely organic meat pies. Good lord.

Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, Skivling. Hang around here long enough and you may just get sucked in.

I've read one of his books, and it didn't really suck me in, like, at all.
