Right-o. I'll get on it... I have a feeling that it'll be based on the one from Mattimeo. Werrha.

My first goes with shock, but is not quite surprised The next I know not, although I surmise My third is of creases, a papery thing, The fourth is used to describe a gold ring. Guess away now, though the truth wears a guise, And the first one to win gets a mystery prize.
This one is easier, so it'll end by... oh, May 15th, let's say. I'm not saying what the mystery prize is, though I have something in mind. ^_^
Guess away, citizens, minions, and would-be assasins.

I lied-- competition will go on for as long as it needs to.
The clues go in the same order as last time.
A noise of sadness, this is the first, To do this while gambling could be the worst. To a writer, the third is close to their heart, Gollum called the fourth this and did not wish to part. The TEO might have lied, But who will win the prize that is hidden inside?
Yes, I know, this rhymes very badly, but I'm hell-bent on getting the clues to rhyme. Whoot.
Maybe next time they'll be in a haiku or a limmerick.

Disapointed sound, A word of ghostly lateness, And what holds paper.
Can you guess my words? This haiku is real bad. And number two's weird.
I suppose that line number two of the first haiku needs explaination. It has part of a word that can mean ghost (ish) and the word 'late' in it. Werr. Sorry, couldn't come up with anything better.
